Appointments begin with a short consultation where we explore your preferences.

You’ll choose your placement and gems, and we’ll take care of the rest — prepping the tooth, applying the gem, and securing it with a professional dental adhesive.

The procedure is completely painless and usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes.

Everything happens in our studio space in Rotterdam — private, calm, and fully focused on you.

We work by appointment only, and all bookings are secured with a non-refundable deposit.

  • Yes. Our application process is completely non-invasive and enamel-safe. We use professional-grade dental adhesive — no drilling, no damage, no long-term effects.

  • Longevity varies per person. Most clients wear their gems anywhere from 1 to 12 months. Some wear them even longer. Longevity depends on tooth texture, lifestyle (eating habits, grinding), and how well you follow aftercare.

  • If the entire gem — including adhesive — comes off within 4 weeks, we offer a complimentary reapplication. Just reach out and we’ll book you in.

  • Absolutely. We’ll guide you through placement options based on your smile and facial features, but the final look is yours. Want something custom? Let us know in advance.

  • Not at all. The process is quick and completely pain-free. Some clients say it feels like nothing at all — others describe it as a “tiny tickle.”

  • Yes. We actually recommend booking teeth whitening before your gem appointment if you’re considering both. Whitening after is also fine, but avoid doing it within 7–10 days of gem placement.

  • Yes — just brush gently around the gem (not directly over it) and avoid harsh toothpaste or acids. Flossing is totally fine and won't affect the gem.

  • Yes. While the gems are designed to stay in place, they can be safely removed by a professional. Don’t try to peel or bite it off — this can damage your enamel.

  • Yes, we love duo bookings. Just mention it when scheduling or book two back-to-back time slots. Each session is private, but we can seat you together if preferred.

before and aftercare

To make sure your tooth gem looks its best and stays in place as long as possible, we follow a clean and careful process — and we guide you through every step.

Before your appointment, please make sure to arrive with clean teeth. We recommend brushing beforehand, but avoid using strong whitening products right before your visit. It's best not to wear heavy lip products or gloss on the day of your appointment. If you've recently had any dental work such as fillings, bleaching, or braces removal, please let us know in advance. We also suggest having something to eat before your session, as you won’t be able to eat or drink for at least one hour after placement.

After your gem is applied, avoid eating or drinking for the first hour to allow the adhesive to fully set. For the first 24 hours, it’s best to avoid sticky or hard foods that could shift the gem. Try not to touch, pick at, or brush directly over the gem in the first 12 hours. Maintain your regular dental hygiene routine, but be gentle — use a soft toothbrush and avoid whitening toothpaste around the gem area.

Tooth gems are non-permanent by nature and may eventually detach over time — this is completely normal and harmless. Should that happen, you’re always welcome to book a reapplication. We also offer safe removal services. Please never try to remove a gem yourself, as this could damage your enamel.
